Well, I brought Hoagie to the vet to start his protocol of chemo, prednisone and Baytril. I'd been getting all worked up about it during the week, never having been through any form of cancer with a cat. I was also afraid that he'd dropped more weight.
Well, he gained 1/2 pound!!!! All on his own (with a little help from us) and over the past month. We were very encouraged about this, as was our vet. He has a lot going for him that I think will help him fight this horrible disease- great attitude, good health other than the cancer, people who love him to bits, and no other change in his routine at this point. I'm going to try to hang on to that.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
