My 3 yr old chocolate lab has this staff infection which causes sores on his belly and under his front legs. They put him on 2 to 3 wks of antibiotics and it goes away for a few months then it comes back. I'm wondering if anyone knows about this and if treatment for 6 wks might get rid of it for good? Thanks for your replys.

Found out my dog has allergies and we are treating them with antihistamines and the infection with antibiotics. Vet also said I should take him off food that contains corn and chicken so I bought some new food called Healthy Choice.

I think our chemical-laden diets are just as hard on our animals as they are for us. That is why so many poor animals have these problems these days.

Life's Abundance dog or cat food can be ordered on line. I think it is Healthynet.com. It contains no preservatives, chemicals, or any allergic crap. It organic and since I switched my Cairn Terriers not only are the allergies amazingly better, but they have grown the most beautiful coats, as I was promised by the person who recommeded it. I wouldn't feed my kids food full of poison, so why feed my dogs food that could make them sick and shorten their lives and make them so itchy!!
