We are new here and looking forward to making new friends.
Quazi is a 10 year old German Shorthair/ Boarder Collie mix who ruled the roost until about 3 years ago when Roxy a 5 month old Rotty was adopted from the Humane Society. Now, Roxy outweighs Quaz by about 50 lbs and runs the show. They are best friends! Roxy pretty much lets us know when Quaz needs anything, food, water, to go outside. She will come to Mom's side and give a little bark to let us know something is up.
Both dogs are very people oriented and would never harm anyone. Quazi likes to run around our little rural town of 600 people, so he has to be let out on a leash in the front yard, but Roxy is let out the door to do her business and never leaves the front yard. Even if people or other animals are walking by. She is a very well trained and good girl! ( we long leash trained her at an early age and she definately knows that she is not in charge of her people, just Quazi!LOL)
