The loss of a pet or animal to which one has become emotionally bonded can be an intense loss, comparable with the death of a loved one. Whilst there is strong evidence that animals can feel such loss for other animals, this community focuses on human feelings, when an animal is lost, dies or otherwise is departed.
My bag of bones 19 year old cat is looking rougher every day....so just wanna admit this while I'm able to, to get some of it out of my system.

yes, that's "monkey", my cat in photo.
woke at 2 with him throwing up, which has become normal----but then he urinated outside the litter box, which of course isn't.
might be matter of days, though he's bounced back before, but at age 19...
so, tomorrow my cat to vet for another test; was borderline in november.
certainly better than in 2004, when the mom cat was dying from cancer, and lowlife idiot upstairs complained to hud about the smell....the lowlifes he was selling cheap, illegal, indian reservation cigarettes to, complained about the smell----when the landlord kicked him out, turned out there was some stuck vent in the scumbags apt that was smelling up the place.
i really go off the deep end re this cat.
