Pet Bereavement Support Group
The loss of a pet or animal to which one has become emotionally bonded can be an intense loss, comparable with the death of a loved one. Whilst there is strong evidence that animals can feel such loss for other animals, this community focuses on human feelings, when an animal is lost, dies or otherwise is departed.
I am sorry for your loss.We too lost 2 family fur babies last Sept and Dec 31 2017.The maltese had diabetes,
We had to put her down. The crazy thing was that I held her while she was being put down and after she was
gone she looked like herself when she was a snowcone ball-I mean the peacefulness was unmistakingly
beautiful.Like she had began suffering- her kidneys and such.Couple years back I had lost my boy Shih=tzu
The funny thing which was weird-I never saw a dog do this- the night before he passed,I held him and took
him outside for a walk-as I stepped outside holding him up in my arms- he looked straight up into the sky.
I will never forget this.It was strange-it made me look up too- later a day or so after he passed, I went outside
in my backyard and looked up in the sky- and if I tell you if I am not mistaken that there were these little circular round cloud like dog footprints and I immediately knew -he wanted me to know that night where to look for him.Like Veronica said-they do watch you from the Rainbow Bridge-Big Hugs and Positive Energy
your way-My baby girl Shihtzu was always in the backseat where ever I went- so Blessings to you and your baby- Your baby isnt lonely- My boy and girls are with her .So the next time you go out in the evening look up look for Twixs' paw prints and when you see them wave and blow her a kiss bye Much Hugs.XxXxX
