Yesterday morning I took my brave warrior dog to the vet because he wasn't eating as much and as a teacup Yorkie, he didn't weigh much to begin with. After the exam, the vet said my sweet boy was at the end of his life and it as time to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge. Oliver was my heart dog, the kind of pet that you have a strong connection that can't be defined or explained. I called him Bow Wow Boy and even sang a song to him about being the best puppy in the world. I had him for only 11 years, not nearly enough time with this special boy. I could go on and on about what made him worthy of his song but it's only making me cry harder. I know I'll cry whenever I think of him so I guess I'll be crying until I'm gone. I'd rather cry than ever let time go by without thinking about him. Anyway, just needed to share with people who have been through this and understand the pain losing a special friend.
