Thats sad that happened to someone who was just looking for support,i hope the person isn't disheartened because there are nice supportive people on here also.i have found great support going through my pet beareavment since i joined.i'm not always on here now as with time i have being healing but i still like to check in often and i have made some nice friends along the way,so that if i'm having a bad day i know they are here,hugs to whoever it was xx

I know people move on and I have too. I do check here every now and then to offer some support as I have been through losses and have pulled through. I also know how difficult it is to lose a beloved pet but recently there are a couple of members here that need to show a little more respect for others feelings.

I also want those 2 to know that they might want to join the Animal Lovers support group for the things they want to discuss that is not about the loss of the pets. It's hard to come her when you are so heart broken about a loss and then you have to see someone going on about injured or left behind pets, that could be discussed in the Animal Lovers Support Group. Anyway just sending that out there. I was going to tell that other member that was not treated well and had his discussion removed to maybe get some advice from the other support group.

I don't think I would be where I am today if it wasn't for the support I received from this group and I can't thank everyone enough. I try to pay it forward and offer others support.
I hope the comments on that post didn't make things worse for the originator looking for support.

Yeah I know this place has helped me too! But I can understand those who get better or feel they can get thru times without coming here-it's just sad when those who need help feel they can't be here :(

I love the support on here. It has helped me so much. There are times when life is just crazy busy and I can't be on here everyday but I do check in when I can.

Yes a post can be removed. I guess I should have been a little more clear. I was talking about DS in general, people are leaving because they are being treated bad by others.

It's just when that person came here for support and it was removed by someone here I got a little ticked. I am over it and hope that person looking for support found it in another support group.

thank God your all here, I'm getting by a day at a time but it sure helped knowing you all were here, thank your for the support, sorry to hear that some one was abusive, it happens from time to time on ds and other sites

Sorry that you were treated badly, but I have gotten lots of support as well on Pet Bereavemnet and the advice has helped me with my grief. I am grateful for all of the members on here, glad to know there are others who think of their furbabies as a special part of their lives like I do.

Several months ago I came to this group. I wrote about my grief over having to put down our beloved pug who was 14 years old. I wrote exactly how I felt. I had been on DS for 2 years at the time. Silly me, I thought that I was able to write my feelings of sadness. The other groups that I belonged to and a few I was an administrator in, all wrote honestly . The next morning when I came back to here I could not find my post. I did not write anymore about it. Today is the first time I have written anything here since then. I knew I would find support and caring here. Thank you Angel for the advice. I will go to Animal Lovers. I can not explain how I felt in finding my words completely erased. It was horrible.
