We just put our 11 year old lab to sleep and cry constantly since then. They hold such a special place in our hearts....we can only know that they are no longer in pain and wait for us on the other side of the "Rainbow Bridge". Time heals all, but we will never forget.

We put our lab, Maggie, down last month. It was the hardest thing I've ever done but she was in pain and needed to go where she could feel better. I still cry for her. You should cry whenever you need to, it does help and yes, the pain does lessen. Keep happy memories of your cat .

It's been over 7 months since I had to have my 19 yr. old Puss Cat put to sleep. and my heart is still aching. Try to remember that BUFF WILL BE IN YOUR HEART FOREVER! THAT BUFF'S SPIRIT WILL NEVER DIE !

thank you for that. i need to remember that Buff isn't suffering anymore. He is probably chasing something in heaven, or talking to us in the wind.

Sorry to hear you've lost Buff. But you're right, he's not really lost, he's just gone from the physical realm into the spiritual. You can still talk to him, he can still hear you. What you feel for him, he can sense. And you'll see him again, someday.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It is so difficult to loose something you love. They are such a part of your life and hold such special meaning. Your Buff looks alot like my cat Fluffy who we think was killed by a coyote on the 4th of July. I have a picture of him on my photo page.

I hope the pain eases for you soon. I am still stuggling fiercely as I was the one who let Fluffy out.

I am so very sorry about your cat. Pets add something special to our lives and the rough part is going on. Always do positive things and cry all you need. Sometimes you have to make yourself do something to get yourself through the day. Buff is happy now but knows she had a loving home.
