Pet Bereavement Support Group
The loss of a pet or animal to which one has become emotionally bonded can be an intense loss, comparable with the death of a loved one. Whilst there is strong evidence that animals can feel such loss for other animals, this community focuses on human feelings, when an animal is lost, dies or otherwise is departed.
Isaiah 11:6 has such a reference.
I have a lot of books about animals and the afterlife, however I know of two that are written by a Christian minister and are strictly Christian perspective about animals' souls. They are "Cold Noses At The Pearly Gates" and the sequel "Cold Noses II" I think both of those might bring you some comfort.
precious pet died I had already purchased the book called There is Eternal Life for Animals. It is based on bible Scripture. The author
is Niki Behrikis Shanahan.
My most comforting and helpful part of the book goes like this. Most people even those who do not know our Lord have heard of John 3:16.
For God so loved the world and he gave his only begotten son,
that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
The original Greek word translated as "world" in the scripture is kosmos," which means "world" or the inhabitants of the earth"
it does not say For God so loved mankind. Animals were included
in God's world. Animals did nothing to sin against God. Animals
will live forever because God has wonderful plans for them.
This is a wonderful and comforting book. It tells you many
scriptures and places in the bible where animals play an
important role with God.
I hope this helps you!
