Just a pet? These furbabies come into yur life and bring u love. They r more than just a pet. Time will b what will help u. I am so sory for yur loss.

Dear Debsue, no one here will ever say "just a pet"! People who don't have furbabies don't uonderstand they are family! We all lost our babies here, mine was 3 months ago and I cry every day missing her so much, it's awful. Personaly I went to the refuge and got a kitten a few weeks later, living alone I was going mad with the silence. I have also rescued another cat after new year, this one appeared, wounded, in my garden. Having those little demons help as they take so much room with their antics and furry presence. They'll never replace my girl. But they needed a mummy and I needed babies! So you might consider that?

I'm so sorry for the loss of your furbaby. I lost mine 4 months ago and it is still hard. I think of her and still cry daily over the loss of my girl.
They are never "just a pet" some people just don't understand how much our pets are part of our family and have a very special place in our heart's. Big hugs .

my animals are my family...just a pet? who is the one to say that? I would not be happy with their take on my pets....they are members of my bed clan and all....they eat my food....they love much more than people show me love....it has to be hard to lose your kitty...so sorry...hugs

Our animals are ''''NOT'''' just pets ! they were created before humans made by GOD , INTELLIGENT (inner wisdom)humans did'nt recieve,loving , spirited creatures...this statement makes me very upset when i hear it.... i was in the hospital from a heart attack and a few other things,why go in for just one thing? lol , my heart doctor made this remark : i was NOT really sick it was in my head , and i was just greiving over a stupid dog, """JUST A STUPID PET"""if i could of got out of that bed or i could of spoken i would of ? "Just a stupid pet' ..... MY stupid dog saved my life, loved me unconditionally, was always there for me, never complained, never made stupid remarks, they 'complete' us !! obviously people which make this type of comment lack intelligence and are missing out on so much ! I lost my sweet loving, perfect,service dog SWEETY over a year ago, i will never get over her ! comforting hugs to you, ...hugs and prayers to all who have suffered loss.. Jobby

Lost my dog 3 weeks ago. I know how you feel. They were moret hen just a pet. Onlyt he insenisiive say things like that.. It is a emotional roller coaster. It is still hard,I adopted a cat to help me. She doesn't replace my dog, but it helps the pain and emptiness. We understand here. Grieving takes time, Sharing here helps. starkeeper I am sorry you lost your furbaby recently....I just thought today that yesterday was the day in 2009 I put down my female baby Carmen who was the most loving rescue dog until Tucker came along few years ago....she had lymphoma....she was a Vizsla hunting dog natural....went with me and my trained hunting dog and just knew her stuff when it came to hunting but she was a close to me hunter where Doc would range out oh maybe as much as 300yrds....she stayed within 100yrds and sometimes within 200 feet...LOL but she was good dog...
