Personality Disorders Support Group
Personality disorders form a class of mental disorders that are characterized by long-lasting rigid patterns of thought and behaviour. Personality disorders are seen by the American Psychiatric Association as an enduring pattern of inner experience and behavior that deviates markedly from the expectations of the culture of the individual who exhibits it.

I will also say that I was the biggest Borderline there was-following every step to prove I wasn't a Borderline, and all I was doing was cementing my dx.
It wasn't until I went through DBT (Dialectial Behavioral Therapy) that i got control of my life, and after a year of no behaviors-I lost the dx!
I still struggle a bit when I am stressed, but nothing like before.
There is hope for you.
You are not alone.
I hope you find the answers you are looking for and if you are having trouble there are allot of people here that will help.
take care

Some do get better over time. Some, DBT and other training techniques work for. I, myself am a DBT drop-out as well as I can't handle support groups. I'm uncomfortable in groups and one thing I've discovered is that people with BPD are, is, we are unique individuals and not everything works for each and every one. We just have to keep plugging along and keep trying things out to see what works for us, as an individual.
