Hi my name is Diane and I am 55, single with a 35 year old daughter in prison. I live alone with my two dogs. I have BPD, bipolar, mainly severe depression and anxiety! I have suffered since my mid 20's. I have been married 3 times and I have been single now since 1996, BPD played a big part of that not working out. At times I like being alone, I have built enormous walls to not be hurt. Rejection is my greatest fear. I'm kind of set in my ways, but I long for someone to be close with. Not sex, just companionship. Someone to do things with. I don't have many close friends and I sometimes feel taken advantage of by them. I am isolating so much! My moods are so low and I have trouble with basic needs. I've got a DBT workbook and have tried to find a counselor that takes my Medicare. Everyday tasks are so overwhelming. I feel so broken and alone. Is there anyone out there that would like to be support for each other?

I can relate to how you are feeling. I read over half of my life in your post. I've been at an all time low with a whirlwind of things going on and crashing around me. I feel I have no control of my own feelings and I'm all alone besides my children. I literally have 1 friend I met online that I can talk to and I guess I've been such a burden to her that she only talks to me once in a while.

I am here if you want to chat. As we all know there are times for me I just shut down so please never question your burdens on others, that's the irrational side talking. I know one thing is that it does lift at some point and you just have to cope the best you can till the wave settles down. It may seem forever but we all remember times when we were better.
