hi. I'm diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, (emotionally unstable). over the last few days ive been waking up in the early hours, feeling weak and very tearful and having times where ive got panicky and paranoid. I never had these symptoms all together before. I don't no who to speak to because seems so busy like my bf cant deal with it at the moment and my support worker doesn't reply to me. I feel alone

Hi, it's hard for others to understand when you spiral down, I've not been diagnosed but I have a lot of the symptoms. The person I was seeing also doesn't get it.

What you describe are not classic BPD symptoms. You need a good evaluation, preferably by a psychiatrist. It seems like a sort of panic issue, and I hope you can find a good doctor. Don't give up, even if you have to travel a bit to be evaluated at least.

I tend to agree with NYNM. I'm no psych, but it sounds more like a mania or flashback to me.

Please speak to a mental health professional.

There are groups here specifically for victims of borderline personality disorder. I have a friend who has it. So I know about it , but can't explain it sufficiently. I don't know where you live. But look up in a telephone book or internet to see if you have a center for mental health in your area. They are usually very helpful in giving you sound information on your, and all conditions of mental health. And check out the site also here. Do a search here for borderline personality disorder in the field at the top right of your home page that is used for finding medical conditions, etcetra. Seek out "Borderline personality disorder support groups" I saw a couple of them somewhere. I forget where though.

I checked your profile, mrg84 and noted that you are in a support group for borderline personality disorder. You are in a good support group as long as it caters to victims of the disorder. You will get hopefully much support there. :) good luck I will however reiterate that if there is an association for mental health where you live you may want to call them and learn from them too, about the condition you have

I too was in a great relationship w/ my LAST boyfriend. I loved him even though we had only been going out for 6 mos. I thought that he understood, at least he tried to and to help me too. For as kind and loving as he was he couldn't understand my needs for meds. I am on Sertaline(Zoloft) for depression, anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, PSTD, BPD,, Eating Disorder and S.I. or S.H. (as it's sometimes called) When I told him that they put me on more meds he flipped out and he's like just what you need(scarastically). And I told him ( trying to keep hurt out of my voice) that yes that is what I need right now. I need these extra meds to handle losing him for the biggest thing, and dealing w/ the ins co b/c of my accident and needing to get a new car. It's all just so overwhelming right now.
I'm terribly sorry I didn't mean to tell you all of this. I just wanted you to know that I understand how you feel. Been there done that again and again and........ Take care, Hang in there and God Bless (((hugs)))
