Personality Disorders Support Group
Personality disorders form a class of mental disorders that are characterized by long-lasting rigid patterns of thought and behaviour. Personality disorders are seen by the American Psychiatric Association as an enduring pattern of inner experience and behavior that deviates markedly from the expectations of the culture of the individual who exhibits it.
He has NO RIGHT to speak with your son about you in this way!
First of all, unless your son is 18 or older - your bf is putting your son into something that as a child - he doesn't need to be. The situation about your BPD is something you and your son should talk about - your son should not get his information from a third party. This is so sick.
You say your bf doesn't give you any support. What the heck are you doing in the relationship then? Isn't that what a relationship is supposed to be about? Helping each other through the hard times and celebrating our good times? You say you can't leave - I'm not sure why? Anything would be better than to have this man destroy your self-esteem and corrupt the mindset of your son.
Please consider getting out of this very toxic relationship - if you can't do it for yourself then at least do it for your son. He will not come out of this unscathed.
Sending hugs and prayers your way.
