So... this drug has made me feel the worst of the worst in a instant. I was so scared after feeling out of control yesterday my first day of the full dose. I had hallucinations minor but scary. And trying to sleep i closed my eyes not even asleep yet and i was seeing people bleeding and scary stuff. My anxiety and depression was coming in uncontrolable waves. I decided to not take the drug in the morning. Well by 8pm i was feeling tingling in my face and a odd trippy f eeling like vertigo but not. So i took half a pill. Now i knew the side effects but i never really felt prepared to feel like that. Im making a appointment with my dr next week. I don't recommend this drug to people with mental disorders. I want to quit smoking but not at that cost. I don't know. I feel so disappointed in myself. Like i failed because i couldn't handle my demons. My quit day is tomorrow and i highly doubt that im in a state of mind to quit. So discouraged :(
There's other avenues to take to stop smoking, perhaps the patches, gum or bupropion with the patches? Not sure what else you've tried but certainly don't give Chantix two wasted thoughts on that product.
