I sure hope this post is friendlier than the Bi-polar group. A few of them were so nasty.(I guess we can thank all the trolls for this attitude people have anymore) But I am not a troll and I am seriously trying to figure out what is wrong with me. I am tired of these mood swings that are so disrupting my life and my family.! I beleive i either have bi-polar or Borderline Personality Disorder. I just don't know witch. I just know something is horribly wrong. When researching I fit into the BPD to a T group C.

This is me on ONE typical day: depression, extreme fatigue, up on cloud nine, can do anything attitude, then the next min. plummet into a deep depression only to come out of it in an hour or so, just to be extremely irratated. Just one mood after another cyclng around and around all day long. Serious Roller Coaster! I can't stand how this is effecting my family anylonger and i have become suicidal again. I don't see my dr. until Wen. meanwhile I am sitting here scared to death. Worrying. I don't want to be either; but nor do I want to continue feeling this way.

Does this sound like Bipolar to you or BPD?

Meds: Wellbutrin, Limictal(joke) clonazapam occasionally, and serequel for sleep.

You could actually have both or traits of one or the other. I have bipolar disorder and borderline personality traits. You sound rather similar to me in your description. Good luck with the doc. Hope the doc will give you a definitive answer. But don't worry or be afraid, things do work out. If you feel suicidal please go to an emergency department or have someone take you. It's not so bad having either, you get used to it. And if the world has a problem with it, tough.

Hi there! don't try to pinpoint something you are struggling with, it's sort of objective if that makes sense. You should really get some professional advice. I felt like that when I was on the pill but only realised when I stopped taking it! I felt really horrible afterwwards coz Ive been a bitch for so long and sooo tempramental. It can be anything, It may be chemical (if you are taking anything) or simply some sort of avoidanc, really such a broad scope! I would really suggest you get some professional advice, it really wil be the way to establish what's wrong and I know that we don't always feel that we need other people but if it's depriving you of being you then you need to just go. I have both. I'm not sure what all of those meds. are for, but make sure you have a MOOD STABAlIZER in the mix. It will help the quick up and downs. I still get ups and downs, but it's not every fifteen mins.
Bipolar site was horrible for me also. This site is more of a family/friend/compassionate group. I personally think we understand something too harsh could lead us to self harm or worse or maybe we are just nicer here. I have several disorders, but this is where I call home. I only hope onto the others if I have a specific question on meds. or the disorder. Hey, I love everybody and all the groups, but I know how some people can get pretty nasty. I just try to remember it's the disorder-not the person. I still stike to this group because I can't always handle hurtful comments. Good luck with seeking balance.
