Personality disorders form a class of mental disorders that are characterized by long-lasting rigid patterns of thought and behaviour. Personality disorders are seen by the American Psychiatric Association as an enduring pattern of inner experience and behavior that deviates markedly from the expectations of the culture of the individual who exhibits it.
The only suggestion I have to offer, is benefit of the doubt. Every person is individual...and unless they give you an uneasy feeling to begin with...there's a chance that there's good in them. If there isn't, detach. Don't hold on...it'll just make things worst. By letting go...you can just, detach. Easier said then done, I know. It's true for everyone. But just a suggestion. :) I hope you find an answer/suggestion that works for you.
