When I was diagnosed with ideopathic PN 25 years ago i was told it would probably get worse over the years and I think Ive been very fortunate until the last few weeks when muscle weakness in my legs is causing all sorts of knee, hip and back problems.I wanted to ask if anyone knows if execises to strengthen my leg muscles will help or does the PN damage them permanently?
From what I’ve read, soft exercises are helpful fo PN folks. Stretching, easy yoga poses, walking even with assistance device.
It’s important to not let the muscles atrophy. I have a vibration board I use sitting down that helps up circulation.
