I live in central Scotland quite near Susan Boyle the singer and i'm sure you will have heard of her.
I have copd and other ailments. I recently lost a dear friend of 11yrs in Sep 2011 to cancer also 3members of my family all around the same time so I'm still not over all this. I worked in London for around 10yrs from 1976 till 1986 then i got medically retired so that's when I came back home to Scotland. Good to see your trying to keep this group going as it seemed to have died a death,let's hope the others will join us. Take Care.

YES SPIZZ ITS REALLY GOOD, WE DON'T HAVE A CAR, SO IT IS BOTH , HERE WE CAN'T PARK A CARAVAN ,THE ONE YOU PULL ,WHICH ARE VERY CHEEP,BUT WE CAN PARK A MOTORHOME, SO IT IS CONVENIENT..YOU CAN ALWAYS GET A TENT AND GO CAMPING, MOST PLACES THE ELECTRICITY IS INCLUDED, I DON'T USE GAS, IT SCARES ME, YOU KNOW 'FIRES'.I MET SOME NICE PEOPLE , YOU CAN GET A SECOND HAND SMALL CAMPERVAN,AND GO EXPLORE..LOVE LUCY..

Hi Spizz, Looks like there is still some of us around, hope you all have a nice day and hope spring is just around the corner. I'm off to Portugal on the 8th March so looking forward to getting some sunshine away from our Scottish weather. I need this break desperately as last year I lost 3 family members and a really good friend who died of cancer, we had only got back from Portugal March last year then in April he was given the bad news that he had lung cancer and it was too far gone and gave him 6months to live, he got to 5months and passed away in September, I was devastated and still not over it yet so now you know how i need this holiday as i now need to move on with what's left of my own life as it's too short. Heya, I just searched myself on google and found DS, I can't believe I haven't been on here for so long. I am starting counselling to get help for what the doctor thought was SAD or Anxiety. I live in Cornwall but hope to be starting college and moving to East England to be closer to my boyfriend.
