When I get my hair highlighted or cut, now the prices really jumps, but....the thing I like about him, in addition to his price, is the fact that he books only one person at a time, and does haven't people waiting....if my appointment is at noon, it's at noon.....
My hair is very thick, and naturally curly, so love the fact that he can blow dry it straight, and what he can do in an hour takes me HOURS, plus, I can't get it as straigh, especially in the back....
I do have orientals to do my nails & toes, and they have been doing it for years.....I began in 1982 with a former friend who came from California and started the 'nails' in Montgomery, but she was expensive, had to arrange my schedule around hers, and although I went ot her for years, got frustrated when I broke a nail and she could get to me.....the nail was broken to the quick, so it hurt....waited four days and finally searched until I found Paul and Tee, and I just LOVE them!! they always find a way to work me in on my schedule, and I LOVE that!
My Color, Highlight, cut and blow dry costs me $200 before tip! I have the stylist and the shampoo person to tip! Then the owner acts like I'm cheap when I book the next appt. in 10-12 weeks instrad of 8. When I say cut- I mean trim the style that's already been cut $55 a pop to take off tips!
