Starting slowly with this new "diet". I decided to try (a) staying on normal meds routine and (2) slowly adding in the "suggested" foods
In my case, adding eggplant and purple potatoes..
No major problems so far in terms of allergic reactions or such.
I tend to a vegetarian. gluten-free diet (mostly fruit and vegetables) to begin with so following this diet has had minor effect on my digestive tract - slight increase in # of daily bowel movements and slight increase in "gas" .
3 days in
I noticed that for days 2 & 3 got significantly more "Off" time in evenings - as if my meds weren't working.
On the other hand, had better nights sleep for days 2 & 3.
Otherwise, no noticeable changes.
I"m thinking that the meds & diet changes are working against each other and I may be better off cutting back on meds as introducing the new foods. I am going back to the book/author for some guidance.
Will probably start up again after Thanksgiving

We've done this diet at home. My husbands symptoms slowly went away. The doctors thought he would be disabled by now. But he is better than when we started eating organic. If he eats out too many times in a week he can feel the symptoms starting up. It has definitely worked for us.
I see my neurologist in February so we will have to discuss this.
Organic all the way!!!!!!
