I mentioned in another discussion that my husband was having problems finding slippers to fit. He has a very wide foot and high instep.
We tried all kinds at a shoes store but nothing was fitting properly.Over the Christmas holidays we were shopping in Walmart and I was determined to find something for him. I spotted some soft flat slippers with a soft lining. His shoes size is smaller, but because of the width we tried size 12 but he couldn't get them on and then I found a size 13 which you hardly ever see in Walmart. Anyway, they fit and the tag said $10, but when we checked them out they were only $5. Wow! I wished we would have gotten 2 pair if they had the size.
I am so happy because now he doesn't have to wear his old ones which made him shuffle along or wear his shoes in the house.

I have wider feet too and have bought shoes at Walmart in bigger sizes, only problem is they become sloppy to wear because they are then too long once they get broken in. Slippers probably won't do that though --- Walmart has some good things made well, a person just needs to understand fabrics etc when buying clothing. I am a seamstress and have found their clothing most times are made better than the high end dept stores......best wishes, glad hubby is walking along better.
Zapos they have different sizes and wide also. Once you order
from one more catalogs are going to come. Just google Zappos and it will give you the store then u go to shoes and then mans shoes
they had good selection. Hope this helps.
