If I do too much -- physical, emotional or push myself to do multitasking and computer work, I wear out pretty quickly. I have to go sit on the sofa with my little dog, and make myself take a "joyful" rest. Or I go up and catch a nap.
I did have to ween off of the Entacapone because of excessive sleepiness, nausea, auditory hallucinations & general ill feelings. I'm on just Sinemet & Sinemet ER and feel a lot better now.
I HAD TO BREAK THIS HABBIT YEARS AGO, ALL IT DID WAS TO MAKE ME FEEL MORE TIRED ,LAZY AND DEPRESSED.
I FIND IT MUCH BETTER TO FIRE MYSELF UP AND DO SOMETHING POSITIVE.

I am on several PD meds which I take every 3.5 hours, thus I have a hard time sleeping for more than 3 or 4 hours at a time. So napping is a part of my daily routine. There are some days t sleep more than others.
Some PD meds cause more drowsiness than others. Over the years as my meds have changed so has my ability to stay awake. Some people have a more profound reaction to the PD meds than others. If you are worried, be sure and mention it to his doctor the next visit.
