I have been taking levadopa/carbidopa as well as Azilect and Baclofen for PD with good results. I have been bothered by a strange body odor since I started the meds and have read that one of the side effect of levadopa/carbidopa is a strange body odor. Keeping super hydrated helps some, but I wondered if anyone else has been bothered by this and if there is anything that can help with this problem. It is driving me nuts!
Maybe it depends on the quantity of pills that you take as to whether you have this side effect . My husband takes 8 per day and he isn't bothered with that side affect but has lost his sense of smell to a certain extent.
I was also thinking that maybe it's happening to you because you take those other pills and perhaps the combination is doing something to your body. Maybe your pharmacist can give you some information about it.
