As Rajesh noted, the cited article reported the result of an animal study. Even under the best conditions and with the best experimental results, human application would be many years away from approval.
It may be useful stuff for staying informed. But we have to be prudent about attending to our own needs.
Hope is important to us having to deal with our PD. But there are times when 'hope' gets to be just another 4-letter word... when we are strung along by others working their own agendas... when we are vulnerable and clueless. It isn't that we lose hope so much as hope loses its sharpness for focusing our strengths. Then we are reduced to wishing and woolgathering.
