I recently got rid of my dinosour ceell phone and got a new smart phone. While experimenting with the camera function I thought I was taking a "still" photograph. Tonight while I was reviewing I found out that I was in video mode. Then I saw the tremor. The image had a steady rocking motion. I didn't realize my tremor was so obvious and not under control.

Funny how we get use to certain annoying disturbances. Maybe they will develop image stabilization for smart phone videos. I still use my old flip top cell phone. I've thought about upgrading. Just haven't done it yet.

You sure got a video surprise. Gotta be careful of those buttons. I dread lelarning another system. When i see myself in the mirror doing makeup or hair - I don't know who that is waving and moving. Glad no cameras.

Cameras and cell phones. Yikes. Have you tried to identify birds through binoculars of a spotting scope? Without something stable to brace against, the pleasure quickly becomes an annoying chore.

And it isn't just optics that are troublesome. There are voice problems too. Tremors get picked up and transmitted on cells. Worse is the problem of voice amplification. Freakin' phones can amplify the incoming voice, but not our own for the listener on the other end. So, late in the day when my vocal output gets all soft and froggy, I end up repeating myself a lot. Bummer # 362.

Hi, I've always had a interest in Cameras and taking piccys. Down the years I've owned a few cameras, but for some reason I never got into it seriously enough and since PD came along the idea of using a camera filled me with dread as I would have had to delete most of what I took.

But with todays amazing technology, cameras has a built in anti-shake feature which I think is great, so I got one and have taken some good piccy's despite the tremours, I find that out of about 80 piccys taken, I delete about 6... which I think is great. So now I have another hobby.

My cell pone is a touch-screen type, the main reason was that the numbers on the actual number screen are quite big and make it easier for me to hit my speed dials etc..... My hand tremours have worsened over recent months... despite PD I try my very best to keep my sanity.

Video's!!... I no good with those.... they would be a total blur!!!....

I found that using tripod helps with many pictures. Not always practical. But a nice option with timer.
