I saw my new Neurologist yesterday and he is a movement specialist!
After spending a long time with me, he said he was not sure i have PD. I may have bad side effects from Abilify or I have Tremor predominate Parkinson's. ???????????????
Dr said my symptoms should be worse by now. I'm happy excited, scared etc.
My phych had told me tremors would be in both hands if reeaction to medis as I had dismissed left hand tremors in the beginning. I had pill rolling tremor in left hand only.
I am super confused.
I also did not tell him about the prescribed diet pills I am on for weight loss by primary care. Boyfriend pointed out, I withheld info. My left hand was shaking, but not pill rolling, in appointment
I'm to take 2 weeks to get off abilify slowly then 4 weeks to get it out of my system.... then another dr appointment.
I want answers NOW.......................

Two themes I have noticed in the short time I have been here are 1) hope and 2) side effects from Rx drugs. As I have mentioned before, the many youtube videos by Dr Wallach on a host of medical issues and ways to address them are available free to watch and to the best of my knowledge have no side effects and give real hope. FYI, I am using the DR's advice and it's been working for me......offering hope to you too.

The new dr was going to start backing off PD medis on next visit in 6 weeks if my left hand has stop shaking.
