New Parkinson's Trial Test

I just got done reading a very interesting article called "Parkinson's trial suggests growth factor has regenerative effects in the brain". This article shows some promising results in raising hope for possible treatment of PD. The article itself was published in the Journal of Clinical Investigations.Upon my interpretation of this article it sounds to be a very promising treatment for PWP and it's quoted as saying that it is "safe and well tolerated".

Can it be possible that there is light at the end of the tunnel? I'm not getting my hopes to built up but if something says it shows "promising results" then I am definitely going to read about it and follow it to see how it all pans out in the future.

It's quite interesting reading material and well worthy of discussion. I am interested to see if anyone out there has heard of this Trial Test before or any other articles related to it. What do you think the chances are of this becoming a reality or does it all sound too good to be true?

Well said Rj...anything that is shown to slow down PD would give such hope.........i wish i could come up with something.....hmmmmmm...nope, cant think of anything that seems to slow down pd. back to the drawing board.......peace to all!
