Sorry you've felt "left out" Aliveo! I'm also new to this forum, but not to DS. I've belonged to the MS and Fibromyalgia forums for sometime, but since my tremors are getting worse, I'm now wondering about PD. My neuro sent me to the Neurology Dpt. of the OU Medical Center yesterday. Hope they can figure me out soon!

Welcome to DS! You'll find lots of helpful, concerned people here, willing to relate and respond to your situations. Although, I don't think their are near as many members here in the PD forum, as there seems to be in the MS or Fibro forums. I've noticed that the "topics and posts" don't move near as quickly as they don in the other forums. However, members continue to join by the day. I have been around the NET PD community for almost 5 years now, and found everyone to be friendly and non territorial.
The Net has no boundaries; it's attitudes, personalities, humour, and apathy that make people want to correspond with you.
So be patient, be endearing, and send lots of hugs. You will make friends.

Sounds like wise advice from spilkers. She's a cool gal to know herself. And she has even befriend this girl in TN. And spilkers, i'm not sure all Aussies are whiney...well now that I think about it...LOL and teasing (in a wierd redneck all-american kind of way).
And Aliveo, one sure way to get anyone to respond is to attach their integrity/reputation/..even Americans w/PD....but I wouldn't make it a habit, OK? Have a great day!

Well good morning Aliveo and welcome. Haven't been on here for a bit so didn't see you had joined, although I just noticed it was August and not September that was posted. Wow. Anyhow, welcome! This is a great bunch and you'll find encouragement, support, help and friends. Even if we are slow. That's what PD does right? Slows 'ya down - ha.

Welcome, Aliveo. I'm sorry you feel ignored. At first, I felt ignored and invisible on this site too, but I gave it some time and people started responding. Some people check this site very often, some only occasionally, so it may take a while to get a reply sometimes. I think that feeling ignored is a hazard of PD; lots of us seem to run afoul of it now and then. I know I do. When you're feeling that way, just shout out; send a message, send a hug, post something. We'll hear you.
