Those of you that use the neupro patch will know what I mean. Those of you that don't let me explain... The patch isn't very big which is nice but on the back of it are two small clear pieces of thin plastic or some sort of clingy material. When you remove these to put the patch on you can't get them off your hand so you take it with the other hand and it gets stuck there... so you start to try to shake it off (this is where i think the person that made these is an evil jokester) and even with the parkinson's shakes it doesn't come off. so you slide it on to a counter or a table or something that it will finally stick to so you can put your patch on. Then you have to find those clear little buggers so you can toss them (and once again with pd your vision isn't always the best ) then you find them and are afraid to touch them for fear of doing the Neupro dance once again... i myself wet a paper towel and scoop em up and dispose them.
As i was trying to shake it off this morning i was thinking maybe they should have considered the kind of patients that would be using this and devise something better, or maybe the person that made them is just evil!!!!!

I know exactly what you are talking about, only I deal with an estrogen patch. Quite frustrating isn't it. I am just glad no-one is videoing me.
I think that part of the problem regarding these pesky things is the natural static on our finger tips, of which I seem to have a lot of... but that combined with the stickiness from the patch make it doubly frustrating & irritating... I find the best way it to stick them to the patch that you've just removed, then you know where they are & then dispose the old patch and those together.
I find that the Patch doesn't always stick too well in hot weather as sweat tends to loosen it's grip. So I always stick my patches on with Micropore Surgical Tape which is excellent in keeping the patch in place even when I'm in the tub or shower.
