I Believe we all have the hope of freedom from the imprisonment of this deplorable disease----I made a deal with God------He has promised that the efforts I put into excercise-----he will double. This may seem crazy, but it does somehow seem real to me. I know that he will do the same for everyone here, so let us just keep on hoping and excercising.

God can work immediately or over time. His Word is medication and life to our flesh. We must always believe and trust. PD is a bear of a disease. I don't knows the whys and how comes....

"Sorry to preach"? I have yet to read one of your posts/replies that seemed like preaching to me! Are you confusing Preach: as in sharing your beliefs with others, with Prosyletizing (sp): forcing your beliefs on others while trying to convert theem to your beliefs.

As I have read as many of your posts as I could, I see nothing but heartfelt sharing of your life with PD and how you cope from day to day, and sharing the "tools" you use!
I must confess ... I use just about the same tools!

Dat's my 'pinion, an ah'm stickin' tu it!

Do you remember Blesed Pope John Paul II, the Pope with PD who preceded the current Pope?

One of the miracles that led to his beatification was the one in which a French Nun, who's intercessory prayers to Blessed John Paul II were heard by God, through Blessed John Paul II, and she was cured of her PD.

I'm not Catholic (all of my childhood friends were), yet I pray to Blessed John Paul II every night, and at times, rough times, during the day!

I love the fact that I can go directly in prayer to the throne of God through Jesus Christ. It comforts me and gives me great peace. Having this personal relationship with Jesus gives me hope. Just to know that he hears me and cares about me no matter what I am going through in life.

I also made a similar deal through meditation with both the spirit of Siddhartha Guatama (Buddha) and Lao Tzu via the I ching just to cover the bases!
