It is the nature of the disease .Sleep problem. When I was first diagnosed , I slept only 2 hr in 24 hr day . 1 hr in day and 1 hr at night.
Tried everything , but until I got DBS i only slept 4 hr through the night and not all together. Now i do not recommend that you go to such drastic measures .Try some of the prescribed by Dr it may work for you,Try Melatonin time relies first , then if that does not work try what the Dr prescribe. I went to sleep and when I wake up i took the sleeping pill and then I slept another 3-4 hr. Hope this works for you/
Or someone may have better suggestion .
the dry mouth aggravates me sleeping. I find I must remind myself every day, despite the goals I set, that at some point during the day, the BODY needs to sit and rest. i don't have to sleep, but just be still and let it recoup.
You may be doing enough that your body is too tired to rest. Just my "annie think". A grilled cheese sandwich may also help (always did my kids)
Being tired or feeling tired, doesn't seem to matter for me, as with the med's I take I'm tired all the time anyways. Your not alone by any means. Most of us suffer from this.
