I just bought a cute little (very little) laptop. When I come to DS now I don't have chat anymore. Do I have to download it or something? It just showed up on my last computer without my doing anything. Any advice from you computer savy folks?

Also - is anyone else getting sent double email notices on messages and journal entries from DS friends? I am feeling like I am having a lot of dey ja vue moments lately.

hi! your little laptop is likely "bouncing " emalis etc. bandwidth issues i think tht is. annnnnddddd.......u can goto meebo.com and download meebo and then follow directions to add DS to the mmeebo. hen u can chat when u not in DS website if u want. Have nice day y night cM!

BP - Is there a cure for the bouncing emails?

If u use a router to have your laptop so it can be moved around the house anywhere u go without pluggung in then u router is not strong enough, at least where u use computer. If you laptop pluggin gto phone line to use then i dont kno wwhat u can do except get bigger computer with more memory(not always work), or make sure you have internet with you cable tv wires (cablenet), also you can have whatever companyt thtat give u internet service check u conectivity with the phone line, TV cable, or router. In the lower right hand side if u have windws on the computer is a little arrowwhen u click on it it should bring up your "bars" like cell phone bars, u use these bars visually to tell u if u have good connectivity or not.When connectivity is low the email bounce or "send multiplt times." This is about all i know and i definatley not an expert!

Hi CM, I've been having problems with the "chat" issues on DS for months... it's crazy, I simply can't get meebo chat etc... no matter what. I even tried opening a seperate Meebo account so I could chat with friends here, and even that fouled up... so I'm in despair, as most on DS have the chat option... I don't and am pretty mad & upset about it but nobody seems to want to solve this problem....grrrrrrr.

Regarding multiple messages and journal entries, the admins should delete them & just leave the one... that should be easy enough to sort out.

We got a new laptop too and my chat feature left. I am not so sure how to get it back either.

What is meebo ??

meebo is the chat engine DS uses. google it and downloadit and load DS freinds into it.

Hi CM,

I've not had the chat bar for months now, when I asked DS they told me it's something to do with a Windows upgrade (7 I think), don't know if there is anything I can do to solve it - any idea's BP?
