The big problem is weaning myself off it. I wobble around bumping into walls when I cut back and drag my leg.
Normac2: The advice given here is great and real - PD is a different challenge to everyone. Relay these testimonies to your doctor, it may take a while for them to listen (USDA and all that), but believe me they will listen. Oh two more important suggestions- write down that you told them and make sure they write it in your chart. And keep track of your symptoms. It helps. God Bless you. Prayer to you all.

I've been on Mirapex for several years. I take .5 gm 1-2 times per day. This is the most my Neuro will let me use. It extends my Carb/Levo 30 or so minutes longer (I take that every 2 hours). At this dose, I can (and have) stop it with no issues.
I've read too much about Mirapex over the years to want more.
All the best,
Fred
