This is really nothing new with pigs. My aunt in USA has had a pig heart valve for well over 10 yrs now and is doing just fine with it. She would have died without it.

The medicine I take for my thyroid disease is over 100 yrs old and created from the pig thyroid gland (Armour Thyroid). They dry the thyroid glands, crush it into powder and it is made into pills. Long story----but my body must love it because the synthetic ones (Synthroid, Levothyroxine) I was getting deathly ill on them. I am so thankful to have found this drug to help me.
