I also have a bit of trouble with my back, but have not had it examined to ascertain if i have damage in those areas
I so wish that pd had such a simple overlooked precurser.
I dream that neuorogists are so over trained that they have overlooked the obvious
While good breathing, muscle balance and spinal alignment is important for health, so is great nutrition, digestive function, immune function and, most importantly, healthy messages coming into our hypothalamus to relay health messages to cells.
Body work like Bowen, Craniosacral therapy, Osteopathy, Feldenkrais, massage and some (gentle) Chiropractic can certainly help relieve symptoms and be part of a package of activites that CAN lead to full recovery from both PD and MS. However, it is far from the whole answer, and must not be viewed as such.
I have worked with several of Noel Batten's ex-patients and I'm afraid he did more harm than good. This is unfortunate as, by working as part of a Complementary Medicine team, he could be a valuable part of a healing program.
All that being said, it may not be simple or easy, but we CAN reverse our symptoms and become well.
I hope everyone looks forward to 2009 with hope, happiness and unconditoonal love for themselves.

Over time and with practise one can learn where in the body the blocks are, and then put a finger on either side of the block to help open it more. all can be learned how to do this from free internet informatoin. Yet, also i agree with another poster in this thread that healing is a whole process and not just doing one thing.
Yestban,, honestly i think you are on the right track!!
And Noel Batten, on youtube as advised above.
I purchased a zen chi machine for myself, on ebay, which apparently adds oxygen and helps with your spine if it is out of line.
Im a total sceptic for most things, but l have been on that machine for around 2 weeks now,,,, and tremors have lessened to a massive extent , lets say 90% less ,... WOW
Yes i still take medication, and will always, until hopefully i feel the need to lessen it . and then go off it , cured
My leg that was so so stiff, since before using this machine, now feels looser!
I very much believe that this is helping me, as i have done nothing else different in the lst two weeks .
but on the flip side, i remain wondering if it is just positive thinking....
For the moment, all im saying is that this seems to be working for me, and im happy
