One bit of missing info in that thread is to avoid any hydrogenated coconut oil (any hydrogenated oil, actually). It is the virgin, organic, cold-pressed kind that contain the most medium chain triglycerides in it that make the difference.

No, just the opposite. Organic, cold pressed is good. Avoid hydrogenated coconut oil, it contains the bad fat.
