My aunt has been in the nursing home for a few years. She has Alzheimers and PD. Her PD is very minimal with very little shaking. Only takes a very low dose of Sinemet twice a day.
Recently she has been getting progressively worse. Really does not know what is going on.
The nusing staff has told the family that her PD is shutting her body down. That she may last 3 weeks. They said it was not the Alzheimers.
Anybody have any ideas on this? Thanks for any help.

Life support issues the dying process of parkinsons. It tells one scientists opinion of what happens. I found it very interesting. I will say a prayer for her tonight.
