Lately my husband has had problems tying his ties whenever he puts on his suit for church. Last week he was getting so frustrated and tired that I said to just go without the tie for once and open the top button. I couldn't help at that point and he couldn't tell me how to do it and I didn't know how to tie it.
Later that week I went on a website to learn how to tie ties. Today when he was getting ready, he had problems again, so I came to the rescue and tied it for him which made him very happy.

Maybe some of you have had this problem and hopefully your spouse was able to help. The website is a video so it's really easy to learn.

That was great you were able to help. He must felt better with the tie on. I can still tie my own tie, It's the top bottom that gives me trouble.

Lynnie200, I have two sugestions 1 get him some new clip on ties. and 2 once the tie is tied, leave it tied and take it off over his head so that it is ready to wear again without having to retie it, and 3 look into getting him a bolo (a south west US string tie.) Good luck and good health. and 4 th find him a new shirt with a naru collar looks good and no tie required. Every body wants to put on thier sunay best.

Alex your suggestions are good ones!!! Lynnie good for you seeking out and learning how to tie a tie. I wouldn't know where to begin. And not sure if i watched it on a video if i could do it. I tried the video on folding fitted sheets, and what a disaster that was...

Thanks for your suggestions. My sister just bought him a new tie rack for all of this beautiful ties. I live in Canada so I doubt if I'd be able to find a string tie. The suggestion about keeping it tied would be something to think about.
The video is very good and if you get a tie and take it to the video in front of your computer, you can easily follow the instructions. I was surpriseed how fast I caught on.
I think he still needs to try it on his own thought= because if he is relying on me for it, then he won't try to do it himself. Most times he is okay but some days it just doesn't click but I guess some of you know how your mind works sometime. It must be very frustrating.
