The current trial going on that is taking an ex pastor of our church Association to court on charges of molestation and physical abuse, is coming up sooner than later. The association did a great job at hiding a lot of the evidence from the beginning and taking the victim statements and twisting them to be "simply spankings." With the most recent testimonies out there in legal documentation, this was most definitely more than just a spanking, as multiple boys have stated that this man put his finger in their bottom hole and fondled their private parts along with the spankings.  The problem is their testimonies are not as strong as they could be because of the way that their first disclosures have been Twisted by The Men Who heard them & who they became as adults (1 drugs/vuyeurism, 1 VERY shy).

When I was rereading through some of the letters that had been given to the families of recommendations for counseling, I came across an interesting fact. The biblical counseling recommended was only for the boys not for the one girl who have been spanked and the title of the book had not been listed but just the author! So of course being me and having to deal with this inside of my own personal Church anyways, I researched that author.  After reading about him online, becoming aware that he himself was a victim of sexual abuse and his primary focus is on sexual abuse and trauma healing related to such, I found he had an actual counseling center/website.  I mustered up enough courage to simply call them &, not lying, ask for what materials they offered for children (remember this author supposedly had a great counseling book for children, per the letters to originally victimised families).  I didn't have to tell almost any personal information.   They shared that they DON'T have resources for children!  They have ONE book written by this author specifically for teenagers under 18, but that's it!  Guess what?  The title specifically states "victims of sexual abuse."  SO, the men in our church association have been claiming for 18 years that what happened was "just a spanking" & now there is definitive proof that people who helped back than thought otherwise!  So, my friend anonymously shared this information with the prosecutor of the current case & I'm hoping that it will help the 4 victims of this evil ex-pastor get justice.  As far as I've shared, NOBODY else had seen this HUGE red flag piece of information.   And now I also have a GREAT, Christian resource to use with my children to help them heal even more.
