Parents Whose children have been sexually abused Community Group
This group is for parents whose children have been sexually abused. We welcome both Mothers and Fathers. Here, we can offer support to one another. We can vent, cry and lift each other up. No condemning or criticizing allowed. We are here for support. We LOVE (((HUGS))) !
It's FINALLY happened! Monster family was in town for only 1 week, showed back up at the old church around the corner for trunk-or-treat AND next day kid's club and long story short, we got enough information for my daughter's therapist to make a call to CPS...they took her seriously...and they promised to do a welfare check by police BEFORE they go back to the other country end of week!
So we (friends, family, bio mom) have been praying like CRAZY that the kids will be BRAVE enough to break free & tell the truth! PRAY!!!!
(There's so much more positive updates to this story but I'm running on 5 hours of sleep, so later...)
The new leader of our old church Kid's group (where some of the the bad stuff happened, my kids disclosed yo the old leader, he was rude, they let monster family come back right after our police case was closed, etc.) Is an old friend of mine! Not ONLY us she a friend BUT she has experience in safety protocols that she has pointed out to this club/pastor are very much lacking. She's been fighting to get them to adopt policies to help keep kids safe at this church for over a year...WELL, because of monster family coming back to the church, that pastor FINALLY talked with her about some of this stuff & endorsed certain things she wanted to do! For instance, monster family's kids can NOT just visit once a year under the radar because they are known...they MUST fill out permission slip & information on their current/local address/phone number and family stats to be able to participate! (This was able to confirm the address I suspected they were staying at, the big sister's local condo.) This leader & anothermo helper roamed the grounds the whole time during club, & foubd monster boy AND monster girl wandering with a friend multiple times WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE IN CLASS, took them back to class, alerted the teacher and now understands how serious letting these kids back on campus can be! AND, just because they are "missionaries," doesn't mean they can just come share once a year whenever they feel like it! (Mom, dad & big sister stayed for club thinking there would be a talk time.) They MUST have prior, pastoral approval and content submitted! (Which they obviously did not!) So they didn't get to share about their "missionary" work! (I found out they are starting an orphanage AND taking kid's club books back with them & doing their own club without registering WITH the actual club leaders! (Scary...those poor kids!) Not only that, but the parents weren't just allowed to wander the campus! One of her safety protocol is that visitors aren't allowed to just join a group of the kids, they have to be known by the leader of the group 1st. So monster dad tried to go hang out during game time and the teacher turned him away because she didn't know him!!!
But, the best part of ALL this is that the pastor told this new leader (paraphrased) "yeah, I thought we wouldn't have to have a talk with them because they left so suddenly but it seems to be a pattern that they keep coming back every year, so we'll have to. And we do NOT support or validate them in the capacity of missionary. They are not welcome to talk at my church."

Monster boy & monster girl were overheard exchanging emails with some other kids so the new leader felt obligated to tell the parents SOMETHING to keep the children safe. I gave her permission & advice to simple share facts with the parents:
"just so you know, there was a police investigation a few years back against ALL members of this family for allegations of sexual/physical abuse of children."
What the parents do with that is up to them but at least they'll not be in the dark anymore.
