Parents Whose children have been sexually abused Community Group
This group is for parents whose children have been sexually abused. We welcome both Mothers and Fathers. Here, we can offer support to one another. We can vent, cry and lift each other up. No condemning or criticizing allowed. We are here for support. We LOVE (((HUGS))) !
YOU are a survivor, too, and I agree, it's time to acknowledge the ways this monster manipulated you into a lifetime of fear.
From what I hear, it's a difficult time to find a therapist taking new clients, but when I was dealing with the fallout of learning what my daughter had endured, I was grateful to have a person who would listen to my stories, and yet be focused on ME. Please get started with a search. You will surely find someone before the parole hearing, and it would be good to have a head-start on understanding your own trauma response, to deal with some triggers in advance! Start by asking your primary care practitioner for a referral. Two other resources, search engines for therapists near you, are

When the time comes, consider if you want a restraining order in place before the parole hearing (your kids may still be able to get one, too). A restraining order can also be established as a term of parole. This is legal self-care, a way to slap his ass back into jail for years if he even approaches you or the kids.
Sorry I don't have more time to chat today, but you have 1000% of my support and admiration. It's time to look out for you.
