Hi there. My daughter who is 12 now, just told me 2 days ago about her sexual abuse experience that was multiple times with a certain family memeber from 7-9 years of age. She did not live with me at the time. And she wants nothing to do with me telling the police. She in fact made me promise. It all came out because I had seen her "joking" texts with some friend at school and the words "cum in my mouth" and calling him daddy jacob. It was really hard to wrap my head around but I had belived her and the joking.I have alwasy thought she was a lesbian but she has a girlfriend now and says is bi for now too. Anyways I was angrily asking her to tell me now what cum in my mouth means. and how she knows what it means. And she lost control and broke down and told me. .
I wanted to go kill that person. I was full of rage and hurtfull feelings. My daughter has long sine buried those feelings and act like nothing is wwrong but I am constanting crying and loosing it because I mean, thats my baby.
I havent a clue what I should do. Am i a bad parent because i havent tried to have him arrested yet or am i bad parent if i do.
