I dont really know where to start,


I have 2 children 9 and soon to be 6 year old girl..


About 2 years ago my oldest daughter came to me and told me my babysitters husband had touched her, my youngest then came out and told me aswell, not only my two girls but my neice.


Im still in shock 2 years down the line, every day is a struggle and i find it hard to deal with, the person who has molested my children is looking at 27charges the trial is next month and i dont know how ill face that person in court...


I confronted the babysitter/ friend strait away and to this day they are still together even tho, there is substantial evidence against the person..


My children struggle every day, my oldest cant speak to me as i am a witness as i was the person they came to first.. and she struggles, she has emotional outburts all the time and has completely changed, even tho she is getting help and my youngest will be soon as there is a wait list. 


Its hard times at the moment, i see a councilor and have been a inpatient in a mental health unit for some me time at the start of the year... no body really listens as no body wants to here my story.. my children have lost there childhood and its scary.

We are here to listen and give advice,if you ask.People forget we are suffering too.Ny daughter was abused by her cousin and she is struggling tremendously.Find strength in the fact that you are supporting your children when you face him in court.Show him he did not crumble your family.are your children in therapy?It's a long hard process but being so young they have a great chance at a full recovery..you are right in saying no one wants to listen,and if your therapist is not helping move on,some swear by EMDR therapy,sounds like you might benefit from it,hugs.

Hello, and welcome. I read your post in the middle of a very busy weekend, and finally have a moment to reply.

I'm glad you reached out for support here. This group has been a rock for me. It's vital to have a place to discuss this "undiscussable" crime and all the ways it affects our daily lives.

EMDR would likely be very helpful for you. Also, I urge you to visit www.mosac.net. It is a comprehensive resource that focuses mainly on the emotional aspects of being a mother of a survivor (in your case, two survivors).

In time, this will get better for all of you. Right now, I know, it seems unbearable.
