Hi everyone, I just wanted to update you on my daughter. After she got home from her trip to her past, she found this support group on bereavement, since she is still trying to deal with the death of her daughter, it has been a life changing thing for her. Each day I see a difference in her, a good difference. I was over the other day and we talked for a long time. Even tho it is a bereavement group it has also helped dealing with the abuse. Like I told her, there is grief in abuse too, just different. She faithfully does her homework and she intends to take another session in May and I will be joining her in this one. I too need help coping with the loss of my precious granddaughter. And tho some may not understand this, I need help in coping with the loss of the deep love I had for my brother, her abuser. She understands this and that means so much to me and just adds to the tremendous love and respect I have for my precious daughter. We are both on our way to healing and I do thank my heavenly father for never leaving us during this difficult time. Sending my thoughts and prayers to each one of you special people.
