Parents Whose children have been sexually abused Community Group
This group is for parents whose children have been sexually abused. We welcome both Mothers and Fathers. Here, we can offer support to one another. We can vent, cry and lift each other up. No condemning or criticizing allowed. We are here for support. We LOVE (((HUGS))) !

Procrastination is a force of nature. It's easiest for me to get going after I've done a bit of gentle stretching. My body is already in motion, so it's easier to do a little cleaning. Clean with music! "Whistling while you work" forces your brain into a lighter emotional state, and helps keep your mind off the stuff that makes you want to quit.
Justice -- or lack thereof -- will happen with or without you at the sentencing. Still, I understand your desire to be present. Can you write a letter that could be read during the proceedings you hope to avoid, so that you're heard even in your absence?
...number the items from most important to least (1=high priority, etc.)...
....start working through the list slowly but surely, using your hubby's smile and freedom to just enjoy being married when he comes back as your motivation...
...and take ONE DAY AT A TIME! It might take multiple days to accomplish one thing but that's ok if there is forward progress! And as you mark off your list you'll be motivated to keep going!
Ask around to those who you would trust for help. Maybe church outreach group could help with the bonus room? Or a trusted teenager looking for a small sum of Summer cash? But most importantly, keep in perspective what is MOST important: YOU & the KID'S! so make sure the day your hubby is coming home that you've taken a shower and will be relaxed enough to enjoy him I strad of being too focused on your list to have fun!
:) YOU CAN DO IT! :)
