This group is for parents whose children have been sexually abused. We welcome both Mothers and Fathers. Here, we can offer support to one another. We can vent, cry and lift each other up. No condemning or criticizing allowed. We are here for support. We LOVE (((HUGS))) !

As I've mentioned, we have our house up for sale. Well, today we went and had a look at a house that ticks ALL our boxes. The owners are Christian, love giraffes like I do, like unicorns like our daughter does and so many other overlaps. Even the kitchen is a colour I love. We could very happily just move in, but it is really pushing our budget. Would appreciate prayers that we would have peace about whether this is right or not. It is the first house we have looked at that we all feel excited about. It also has the space for my mother to live with us down the track, maybe in the next few years, or never, depending on how things pan out.

Funny - I agree w Laura. When things are meant to be, smth will make it occur. I have been thru a lot in my life - extreme good to the bad that brings me here. Always when very significant things occurred in my life there were signals of what was meant to be that gave me comfort.

As I mentioned be4, be careful not to overspend - esp w your health issues surfacing and that you aren't pressed to be at work more to pay bills when your children need you most right now.

One bit of peace that has helped me from Joyce Meyer is what ever God orders he pays for. Doesn't mean we can't step out but if there isn't provision it can mean we need to step back and reevaluate. Praying for God's peace either way.

Will keep you posted. We put in an offer yesterday, but think it will be too low. If it is of God then we will have a serious offer on our house too and everything will fall into place and we would have to believe that he has something better for us. Trying to contain excitement/desire with being practical.

As we thought, our offer is way off the mark. Still waiting for someone to be interested in our place. Hoping that happens in the next week or so. We have school holidays next month and it would be nice to be moving then, but that's my timing.

Had a few moments and wanted to share my prayer for you.

Lord bless Ozmum as she waits on You use this time to strengthen and encourage her as she sees your hand at work in her life and her health. I pray Lord believing you have the perfect home already in mind for her and her family a place of rest and healing Lord. I pray believing you will not only bless them with a buyer for their home but their home will also be a blessing to the one purchasing it. You are a God of details and none escapes You. Let You be her place of rest more than a home can provide. Your word says You (Ozmum) are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you (Isaiah 43:4). Shower her with your love that has no measure and in no way can be earned but is lavishly poured out on us who will merely receive it. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Well, this house wasn't meant to be. The bottom has fallen out of the housing market here so it will take longer than we had hoped to sell our house. Things will happen when they are meant to.

I am so sorry to hear this, Ozmum. We experienced this where we are as well several years ago. We unloaded our house and then bought a much smaller one and thank goodness the market has since recovered. Stay strong and hope for the best.
