Moving away of the best family we have built while in the army is one of the most difficult things. Having that support of people who know our situation and are who that readily available is being missed tremendously lately. I am wanting to start a military wives group at our new church but I’m not comfortable with leading it because my walk is a bit rocky right now. I went to have a chat with the pastor and they asked me about this. I tried to explain around the issue  but I ended up just blurting it out because it wasn’t making any sense. I regretted it immediately. It’s like it had just happened again. The looks of oh you poor think and the silence that followed. It ripped me apart. I’m not comfortable with any of my new friends husbands being around our daughter alone but I don’t know how to ask them to make sure they aren’t alone together without disclosing to them. My daughter was pulled out of library yesterday by her principal to discuss something that happened on the bus. He didn’t take her to his office where there were eyes on them he walked around with her. My husband and I discuss this with her and got a better story and understanding of why he would do that (being called to the principals office is terrifying and it’s more casual and I’m sure makes the children more comfortable to walk around with him I get it) our daughter said she trusted him. We said ok we trust your jugdment and if you trust him then we’ll follow your lead. But y’all she trusted her grandfather and he hurt her. He has hurt this family. I’m so sick to my stomach I don’t know what to do anymore. I just want to go back to Tennessee where our family is. I need my support system to help talk me through this fear and the difficulty of trying to successfully parent an abused child and not lose my mind doing it. I’m just over it I wish I would all just go away. Parenting is hard enough and now this is thrown on top how are we gonna make it through till she is a happy successful adult?!?!?!
