This group is for parents whose children have been sexually abused. We welcome both Mothers and Fathers. Here, we can offer support to one another. We can vent, cry and lift each other up. No condemning or criticizing allowed. We are here for support. We LOVE (((HUGS))) !

Just found out today that my ex (the abuser of my daughter) is filing a deformation of character case against me. He got served a protection order from us 3wks ago (which he hasn't detested) and last night got served a parental order from his other ex who he had a child with after I left him. I went to her and to his current girlfriends parents to tell them about my daughters disclosure... sent them a private message and only said fact ... ie. there is a current investigation pending for sexual abuse of my daughter over 3yrs from ages 9-12.

I know he doesn't have a leg to stand on (according to my lawyer) but it just gobsmacks me how far he will go to cover his lies and abuse... has anyone else been through this?

What an absolute turd! He just doesn't want to be exposed for the monster that he really is. Well, too bad!

FinallyLiving, It seems like it's just another desperate attempt to create chaos in your life. Some people just can't accept responsibility for their own actions, always have to blame others to deflect the chaos in their own life. Don't let him win. Just let this roll off you.

Legal sleight of hand. Like all magic tricks, this one doesn't change reality. It only distracts the audience from the truth. This will not stand in court -- don't let it "stand" on you. Ironically, this further defames HIS character. Best of luck with the investigation.

I like the analogy of the magic tricks ...so right and yes this DOES defame HIS character... had a bad night last night ... got a little drunk (safely at home with my husband) ... and CRIED lots!! Feel better today getting all those tears out of my system, now ready to stand firm again :)

I too filed a protection order two weeks ago and was served with a order to appear for respondents motion to dismiss the cpo, and another petition trying to have me post a cash bond of 4,000 for his attorney fees and his get this...."pain and suffering" I laughed and cried when I first read this. However I am not intimidated by his threats at all his attorney is a joke.. I have done nothing wrong by protecting my child I told his attorney to tell his sick f****** client to be expecting a lawsuit. I would really love to tell him his threats will not work on me I am not a child he manipulate or abuse and that he screwed up big time touching my child I wish you good luck you old sick pos I have hard evidence and I promise you will soon find your new buddy behind bars where you will live till you die!!!

how are you surprized? Of course the abuser never, ever admits to anything... in fact he would rather die than let that be known.

totally agree with all of you. and rcpmommy ... I'm behind you 100% too ... as horrible as it is to see you also going through the same thing, it's nice to see someone else following this journey with me. My family have the attitude of "don't even worry about it, he won't win" ... while yes this is true, I just can't believe the audacity that he would even try it on... isn't it enough of a kick in the gutts that he would moleste my daughter, then move on with other women as it nothing happened (while never denying anything but never admitting anything) but then to tell me I'm the criminal ... I don't think so!!!

Plus, it's easy for others to say, "Don't worry, he won't win," but you still have to march through the legal minefield to make sure he doesn't.
