Parents Whose children have been sexually abused Community Group
This group is for parents whose children have been sexually abused. We welcome both Mothers and Fathers. Here, we can offer support to one another. We can vent, cry and lift each other up. No condemning or criticizing allowed. We are here for support. We LOVE (((HUGS))) !
My daughter shared with me that she actually recorded a conversation between the perp and his little sister about what they were going to do to her on their big brother's phone.
Then, last night, my 4 year old I believe started having psychosomatic pain in his booty hole and saying that someone had given him an owner but he couldn't talk about it yet! We tried an ice pack, a wiped and then booty cream, trying to go poop oops (which was just gas) and ultimately a bath and talk of his favorite animal before it went away almost 45 min. Later. He said his tummy never hurt but that "in the middle of his bottom deep down inside it tickled and had pokeys" that weren't going away. It began randomly during watching a movie and got worse as bedtime approached. Another night, he also shared the abuse started when he was 2 and that he remembers. I haven't shared this with my husband because I don't think he could handle it!
According to the detective, I am simply supposed to write this stuff down and do nothing about it unless they want it in the future. I know we will need to get him in counseling but we are on the wait list right now for the specialized therapists (& waiting for our victims of crime compensation) so it's just me.
Is that my only legal recourse? My oldest was literally in the hospital 165 days of the 2014-2015 year from March to March during abuse taking place. So wouldn't they logically want to follow up on this case or is his age really that big of a factor?! Am I to believe that if your under the age of 12 you have so much freedom that you can beat people up, verbally abuse for years, rape and lie and get away with it?! All your victims will be told "your just a child so you just need help?"

Our case was already decided by the DA to be too filled with confusion to go ahead to trial. I also continually called the police just to get them to take us seriously...left messages with summaries of the most recent updates. We reported a rape Dec. 1 and THAT case was "lost" and never followed up on so we went in to the precent about a month & a half later with 150 pages of disclosures typed up and a true timeline of when everything occurred printed out and the fact that it was 3 victims, not just our daughter, and ONLY then did they start an investigation. After the forensic investigations where my children all clearly named the other child as their abuser they had the audacity to ask us if our oldest son, who had only molested our daughter due to her also being sexually aggressive after his year of cancer treatment, if he had abused their perp &/or them! That makes absolutely NO sense! Many of the instances where the really scary stuff was happening to my children, my oldest was gripping a hospital bed, vomiting out his guts and recovering from surgically losing a testicle & having his insides surgically removed! His siblings never had a problem comforting him, loving him, sleeping with him, being near him for the whole 15 years prior to the short period after cancer where my 2 kids were inappropriate with each other. Anyways, our case was closed about a month ago.
So, I guess, that's it. The one way I continue to fight for the truth to win over the system is by sharing what my kids have said about other victims with their parents. I spoke with another mom today...she herself was also a victim when she was younger which is why she had chosen to homeschool her daughters. All of us had chosen to homeschool to keep things like this from happening to our children...I guess evil can lurk even in the guise of an intelligent, short, blue-eyed, blonde-haired little homeschool boy. My daughter shared with me today that there are ANOTHER 2 victims, both a boy & a girl, that she's not ready to share about yet! This kid truly was a MONSTER...and so was his mother for ignoring all the blatant symptoms including my children begging for her to make the abuse stop!
Thanks for suffering along side me, ladies. The other mom said it best today: "we didn't choose this bond but we have it so we can support each other through the pain." I'm sorry to hear of all your stories where the justice system failed. I guess this site is perfect for venting...
